George W Bush makes a fool of himself (part 94)

Jonathan Pearce over at Samizdata commends GWB warmly for this parting shot:

The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter." He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

Nice try, George, but didn't you know that the USA have been overtaken by The People's Republic of China?

Nice one. He must have that end of term 'I'm going to have a giggle' feeling. I'm all for it.

If I were GWB I'd be thinking about McCain and Obama and how one of them is soon going to have to waste his time with nitwits at G8 summits, all posing around taking themselves too seriously.

If GWB had been really mischievous he could have blown (or tried to blow) the whole warmist crap out of the water. But even George wants something to do after he retires, preferably something which means he can fly round the world at somebody else's expense. Offending the warmists could put that ambition in real jeopardy.
