He has had months to prepare speeches for victory and defeat, he had his moment of glory and just came out with a shapeless rambling collection of snippets of this that and the other, the whole thing was condescending, clumsy, pointless, humourless, badly delivered etc etc.

I thought it was pretty good....delivery needed a bit of work, but it was gracious.
To be fair, I had months and didn't prepare anything. I just thanked a few different groups of people. you can be so focused on trying to win, that you don't know what to say when you do.
You could've told them a couple of funny 'Tales from the trail'! Like ones about having an Indian girlfriend and polishing your shoes before you go out canvassing.
Did you manage to see the speeches of the other candidates? I saw Boris, Ken, brian and Sian, but then both BBC and Sky news cut away. Why show the greens speech but not the others? BBC bias?
