I have always considered them a truly dreary organisation, but they appear to be a beacon of freedom. Apparently there are only six countries in the world without a Scouting movement.
Yes, you've guessed: Cuba, Burma, Laos, China and North Korea.
And Andorra, not sure why they're on the list, but hey.

I woudl wager all of those have some deeply shady alternatives to teh scout movement.
Have you heard of Putin's new scout movement; brownshrits type of scariness.
Sure, those countries all have their own "Youth Movements", following the template in "1984".
Everything Putin does scares me anyway.
Andorra's so small they probably don't have enough kids to for a single troop let alone an entire movement.
I don't know, but would guess, that if scouting does go on there it falls under either the French or Spanish movements.
RM, you've spoiled it now, I thought maybe Andorra was the last evil totalitarian bastion in Europe.
