After being found guilty on five of six counts of child trafficking and procurement, Ghislaine Maxwell faces six months in prison – or life, whichever comes first. Prosecutors said they’d asked for a whole-life tariff, and in pursuit of that result, they’d asked for the security cameras to be turned off.
“The sentence is a good result for both the innocent and other implicated parties,” we were told by a court spokesman, ”Maxwell and Epstein’s victims know that she will receive the full force of the law, and the people in that little black book can be confident she won’t.”

Both the FBI and the Department of Justice's Inspector General are conducting investigations into the circumstances of his death. The guards on duty were later charged with multiple counts of record falsification.

Jean-Luc Brunel, who allegedly procured women and girls for the convicted sex offender, was in detention awaiting a trial on charges of rape of a minor and sexual harassment.
Prosecutors in Paris confirmed Brunel, 74, was found hanging in his cell in La Santé, in the south of the capital city, in the early hours of Saturday morning. Video cameras in his cell were not running at the time.

What I find interesting in all this, is that as both men were awaiting trial, they had never actually been found guilty of anything, so technically, they were innocent men. Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty of procuring women but, as far as I am aware, there has never been any public mention of the customers in her trial, so is she guilty of procuring women to nobody? The world of law and order just seemed to bedwetting weirder and weirder.

That is an excellent point. Hmm.
P, it is an established legal principle, that, in cases of sexual malfeasance, it is always the woman's fault for enabling it to happen, not the man's fault for making it happen.
Maxwell's not long for this world it seems.
Don't forget Bernie Madhof's son and I think his brother recently. I'm sure you remember he was used as a scapegoat during the financial crisis in 08. He'd been running the ponzi for 40 years until suddenly he was a criminal. The SEC and so on had made several weak attempts to investigate. Many of his clients were senior figures. He created the NASDAQ. May close friends and colleagues were in very high places.
You know it makes sense.
Russia is hotting up. Very exciting. I won't be fighting for my country against them. I won't be supporting America. The past 2 years have made that a no brainer.
