... and now plan to wallow in self-pity for the rest of the weekend.
1. The whole thing was very well organised, from booking system to the centre itself.
2. Staff (mix of NHS and volunteers) were very friendly, or at least courteous and efficient.
3. Oxford Astra-Zenecca.
4. Second dose due in ten weeks.

I had mine last week and could not feel the needle at all, did not notice a thing, actually wondered if they had done it but later found it was better than a sleeping pill for a few days and nights
Ours was courteous and efficient too. Afterwards I felt rather warm for 24 hours as if I'd caught something flu-like but then it disappeared.
No effect at all on my first jab - the bloke down the road slept for 24 hours after his. Slight, possible, reaction after the second one. Felt light headed a couple of hours after returning home and when I lay down and closed my eyes felt as if the room was revolving, so had to keep my eyes open to avoid throwing up. Eventually fell asleep like that!
Ten weeks, eh? Excellent! Here in Nova Scotia I was lucky enough to get the AZ vax yesterday but my second shot won't be until early July.
Vaxhole
definition: One who has been fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus and brags about it.

Having lived in Kent for forty-five years, I was surprised to find that I'd never, ever been past Headcorn Aerodrome, from where a lovely bunch of volunteers and docs were administering the first jab as smoothly as one could wish - and with a bit of humour and goodwill too!
Back again in a month for phase two!
(wanders off whistling 'Those Magnificent Men in their...')
I had mine in Feb - nothing except a sore arm. Got the AZ one too. Was hoping to start understanding a bit of Swedish as a side effect but alas no
@RT Vaxole I love it! Wearing it as a badge of pride
MC, you got off lightly.
AKH, I had the same, still feeling a bit rubbish but can't complain.
P, that sounds yucky. I hope it wore off.
D, you're only a month behind me.
RT, I'm not bragging, I'm whining and moaning. I guess that still makes me a vaxhole.
S, there are still lots of these little airfields left over from you-know-when. There are three within a ten minute drive of where I live.
M, the vaccine was designed in England, the only link is that AZ is UK-Swedish and the stuff isn't even brewed up there, so I wouldn't expect any Swedish side-effects.
Had my first one back in February. No after effects at all.
L, you are tougher than most of us! When's your second one due?
MW April - I think. Mrs F felt a bit off though. Of course it might be that I am so decrepit that feeling a bit more off is not much change....
I had my first Jab this morning.
