Mark Wadsworth said...: G, like everything with Covid, everybody picks and chooses statistics to support their case. A lot is unclear or disputed. There are unknown unknowns. But on balance, I'll accept that masks reduce infection rates, however slightly.

For example, how do we know that cases wouldn't have risen faster without masks? We don't. Maybe they would have even risen more slowly, who knows?; 4 December 2020 at 11:19
