Mark, off topic, but my favourite data set, reflecting as it does on the mighty Irish economy, that must surely be bringing its people a solid, Nordic life style and standard of living to boot. Lucky we have a whole 'evidence based' 'Economics' profession helping us Proles understand this 'real' modern, 'powerhouse' economy and thus our own progressive economy?
'Racist!'
Nope. My interest is soley to reflect on the UK economy this side of Irish border. I know that the stinking, 'Modal income' scum, cohorts are not a proper, statistical average and can, therefore be left out of our MSM 'Economics' experts discussion on the UK 'average' figures. But the 'Modal income' of no statistical significance hords, make up a large number of folks sitting each side of the Irish border I am led to widely speculate.
Nevertheless, luckily as Brexit shows us when they voted, we all still buy into the Blairite, GDP growth miracle in the UK too ( as the breakaway Labour PLP wishes to bet on).I'm sure that the modal folks in Dublin often travel around, much as I do up here in the North, and remark, just as I do here, how much of my city reminds me of Stockholm in the summer; and how at ease we all are in that funny, 'Skandy', 'hygge', way about the 'Cool average GDP, Britainia/City of London model' that Tony and Gordon built for us, all those long forgotten years ago.
