I thought it was "Per ardua ad astra"?

B, you can use either, they mean much the same thing.

I've had the Astra (well, three actually), where should I be heading now?

Quid pro quo:

'Look mate, how about turning the volume down next door, or I'll play this one, non-stop, for the next two hours and see how you like it!'

B, then keep buying Astras, somebody has to!

MW, I once did that to get my own back on annoying neighbours who listened to bass and drum very loud.

My cassette player would play two cassettes back to back, so I plugged it into a guitar amplifier, turned two C90's worth of AC/DC up full whack, pressed play, popped a note through their door saying that this was a retaliation and would they mind turning it down a bit in future, and then decamped to the local pub for three hours.

I never heard from them again.
