Nobody move or the buses get hurt!

Spotted by @TheaDickinson in the Birmingham Mail:

An expert has sensationally claimed bus services may STOP after Brexit - amid fears over the recruitment of drivers.

Services across Birmingham and the Midlands could worryingly grind to a halt, the expert has claimed.

Warning Brits they face impending chaos after March 29, former Stourbridge MP Lynda Waltho suggested the UK could face an exodus of drivers...

This is getting absolutely absurd. No-one I know - leaver or remainer - believes anything the government (or Parliament come to that) says any more.

As almost every bus where I live is driven by an ex Gurkha soldier, with the influx of Nepalese into the country over the past couple of years, the nation's bus companies need have no fear of recruitment.

If you want a laugh, somehow the Graun has revived Polly Toynbee and she has come out with the seven plagues of Brexit: rubbish in the streets, slurry in the fields, rats, dead sheep, empty supermarket shelves, no medicines, rioting, the Queen having to flee, collapsing pound, no cars being made in Britain, bankers leaving in droves.

Quite why Remainers are so obsessed with Dunkirk and WW2 is beyond my comprehension but there it is in all its insanity

PS, you don't live in South Wales, do you?

"bankers leaving in droves"

Isn't that a bonus?

Bayard, for Polly and most Remainers "bankers leaving in droves" is good unless it was caused by Brexit, in which case it is bad. It's like dealing with schizoid people.

G, for another fine example of something being simultaneously good if the EU does it but bad if we can blame it on Brexit, see next post :-)

That's interesting because I couldn't place my bus drivers (in Swindon) as they seemed to be sorta-Indian and sorta-Chinese and I was thinking of places like Malaysia, but this makes a lot of sense.

And yeah, there's more of them than any Europeans.
