I am absolutely tone deaf - I confess that I therefore find these posts completely unfathomable.
L, the song changes key from G sharp to A. I can usually sort of spot them, but I have to pluck along on a guitar to make sure.
MW. Y'see. That's my problem. What is G Sharp? And A? I have absolutely no idea.
L, music is not my forte. But one of the few good things my parents did was making me take piano lessons for a couple of years so i know the rudimentary basics. IMHO making kids play something basic like piano or guitar for a year or two is A Good Thing, even if they hate it, that way we wouldn't be having this discussion :-)
MW I wouldn't have 'hated' being made to learn the piano, but they knew it was pointless as I am totally and absolutely tone deaf. I like music and I have tried on my own, but it's a lost cause (or more appropriately a forlorn hope.
And yes, it is A Good Thing. All my children have done that.
He should be charged.
I recently heard a track that was gear changes the whole way through, it was part of the conceit (ie. not just a trick to make the song more interesting/longer).
If I hear it again I will have to make a note of what it was.
Has anyone noticed one of the bells is out, out of pitch or timbre , in the chimes with Big Ben.
