R, all "homes" have to be owned by somebody so the word "home ownership" is fairly meaningless. Question is - should they be owned by owner-occupiers (best), the local council (second best) or private landlords (worst)?
If the Earth is all our "home", then none of the above. Maybe we should call the location part "home" and the other part immovable capital. Or IC for short. Nothing wrong with immovable capitalists. It takes the Land out of landlord for a start.
