Sustained Damage

The irony of the damage caused to Nazca lines by Greenpeace in Peru is that archeologists have been worried for years that extra rainfall caused by deforestation and global warming could erode them.

If you are a part of the political system an apology is enough. For anyone else the full might of the law and the full weight of the media will descend upon you.

Peru seem pretty serious about prosecuting them. Doubt it would happen in the UK, but it might there.
