DBC Reed said...: Have you noticed that the Americans have very few regional cheeses? Standard lists of their cheeses rather desperately include things like "Swiss cheese" and "cream cheese". Some States don't produce any cheeses at all ,most production being centred on Wisconsin and California.For a highly materialist country with so much regional music etc, this is a bit disconcerting .; 1 May 2014 at 09:15
