Well it was handy for me since this is the day that the US and Canada put the clocks forward. But I take your point.
D, fair point. "Daylight Saving Time" is an Americanism, so technically they were probably correct.
So you could tell the DM readers yesterday: they were the ones who were an hour early for everything.
I suppose reading the caption to the photo was too much?
"Americans will set their clocks 60 minutes later before heading to bed Saturday night, but daylight saving time officially starts Sunday at 2 a.m. local time."
