From Yahoo News:
Lack of climate change is likely to have a deadlier effect in London and the affluent south east than elsewhere in England and Wales, say scientists in London and the affluent south east.
Scientists in this region are most at risk of losing their funding unless more people start dying in heat waves, according to historic figures.
Between 2001 and 2010, the number of researchers in London and the south east increased by more than 10% for every predicted 1C increase in temperature, a study found.
Districts in the far north were much more resilient and saw no increase in the number of climate researchers at equivalent temperature predictions.
Across England and Wales as a whole, forecasts of a summer 2C warmer than average would be expected to cause around 1,550 extra climate science jobs, the research showed.
Ah, this template is so much fun…
