I've not had any need to do so, but apparantly our Humax Freeview box can be plugged into a PC and mounted as an external drive and you can just copy the movies off.

For me, I watch most movies once then delete them. The ones I really like I get on DVD or Blu-Ray.; 11 February 2014 at 22:40
Mark Wadsworth said...: B, my son's girlfriend puts them on data sticks. But in terms of £ per GB of storage, the Sagecom digi-recorder box is actually cheaper than data sticks.
