"We're the Glenn Millers"

From Wiki and Wiki:

In 1942, at the peak of his civilian career, low level marijuana drug dealer David Clark (Jason Sudeikis) is robbed of his money and stash and volunteers for the Navy.

His boss, wealthy drug lord Brad Gurdlinger (Ed Helms) writes to Army Brigadier General Charles Young and persuades the United States Army to help him smuggle marijuana from Mexico.

Realizing that at 38, being drafted into the Army is too suspicious, David hires a stripper named Rose (Jennifer Aniston), a runaway teenage girl named Casey (Emma Roberts), and his virgin 18 year-old neighbor Kenny (Will Poulter) to form a popular swing- jazz band.

Because of the extra load of the marijuana and David's patriotic intention of entertaining the Allied Forces with the fusion of virtuosity and dance rhythm, one of the radiator hoses breaks while going up a steep incline.

On December 15, 1944, a family they had encountered at the border called the Fitzgeralds, consisting of Don (Nick Offerman), Edie (Kathryn Hahn), and Melissa (Molly Quinn), offer them a lift to Paris in a single-engined UC-64 Norseman, USAAF serial 44-70285.

They depart from RAF Twinwood Farm in Clapham, on the outskirts of Bedford. While flying over the English Channel, David learns that Don Fitzgerald is a DEA agent after finding his badge and gun in the glove compartment and the plane disappears.

No trace of the aircrew, passengers or plane is ever found.
