A fairly well known economist sent me a book/pamhplet he wrote about preventing banking crises, which I am half way through reading, and not once does he mention house price bubbles. He gives the dates of the banking rises from 1857 onwards in the usual 18-year cycle and the penny still has not dropped with him. Ah well.; 6 December 2011 at 12:35
