From The Daily Mail:
Two teams of amateur footballers were left baffled by an unusual pitch invasion after their match was interrupted by a cow.
The two-tonne beast startled players during the match in Potterspury, Bucks, after wandering into the thick of the action. And not content with holding up play, the bovine pitch invader even committed a red card offence by charging at both teams before relieving himself 25 yards from goal...
Yup, one single udderless cow (also known as "a bull") can easily intimidate 23 grown, healthy men, plus onlookers - but should the Mail really be reminding cattle of the disruption they could cause if they put their minds to it?
It doesn't look very iconic

She was only a footballer's daughter but she liked her 'uddersfield Arsen'al.
Two tonnes? I doubt it. That would be a White Rhinoceros.

But the Mail has a duty to tell the truth, surely?
Ah.
I really doubt it weighed anywhere near 2 tonnes. The heaviest bull known was just over 2 tonnes, so its not likely this one was even close to that. About a tonne, tops.
"she was playing for " and "relieving himself" ? Don't these people have editors? (cont p94)
It seems that the solution that first occurs to people is call a marksman to put it down.
So I got to wondering how much are these animals worth? They represent a substantial investment on someones part, surely? A quick google shows the top price for a stud bull seems to be nearly 9 grand, which is more than I expected.
