Well, you could make the point that old elephant-ears never really loved anyone other than old horse-face, so, in a sense, he wasn't really cheating on St Di, whom he only married for political reasons (in the way of royalty down the centuries).
B, fair comment, but either he was really married to horse-face and cheated on her with St Di or vice versa.
Horse-face was really quite pretty when young. St Di was the sort of woman whom anyone sensible would flee at the first oppo.
