Killer rabbits!

From The Metro:

Energy Kamuruko was out tracking with dogs when he noticed a rabbit dart into a tunnel near the village of Mandipaka. The 20-year-old peered inside but his head got stuck. His body was found the following day by a neighbour. A postmortem confirmed he died on Sunday of asphyxiation.

Without wishing to be 'boaring', the article continues:

It is the second hunting-related accidental death in the African country in recent months. In August, Tamsen Lucius, 36, impaled himself on his own spear while chasing wild boar.

Officials said he had climbed a tree to try and get a better angle with his weapon after tracking a herd of the animals in the bush. But he died instantly after losing his footing and impaling himself through the chest.

Pop a Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch into the tunnel. That'll fix 'em.

How do we know about the rabbit bit? If his body wasn't found until the next day, surely nobody was with him?

As Bruce said.

Same with the spear, who knows? only the rabbits and the boars and they are not talking. It wouldn't be hard to make it look like an accident.

There are well documented cases of dogs 'accidentally' shooting thier owners on hunting trips.

BTW did you catch the piece on the TV on Thursday (on the show that Adrian Chiles used to do, but is now hosted by some generic regional accents) about the GIANT NAZI COWS, in the UK. They are actually not that giant, but have wicked horns.

VFTS, it was in modern Africa, not England at the end of the Roman era (the film is wrongly dated, it says AD900 whereas King Arthur lived around AD400).

B, PC. exactly. Like the woman in Scandinavia who was "killed by an elk". No I didn't see GNC's, I'm never home early enough to watch that stuff.
