SL, I've read it again, absolutely awesome. Nice bit of Indian Bicycle Marketing on the penultimate slide.
To put all that in perspective, the UK government intends to spend about £10,000 per annum on every man, woman and child.
I can see how pensioners get their money's worth, with a state pension and 'free' health care, but for everybody else it is just a bottomless bit. Can't they just dish it out as a Citizen's Income of £10,000 each and have done with it?
Pensioners (the grey vote) are the big winners on face value.
But the OBR forecasts are all predicated on the house price ponzi bubble continuing indefinately, which can only mean sterling tanking!
It really is mightily depressing. One always 'knows' that whatever any of them say it will be bollocks, but is so helpful when someone else has the time, patience and skill to fisk the figures to prove what you know.
Deaths too good for them.
