"Rambler trampled to death by cows"

From The Metro:

A walker was trampled to death by cows which surrounded her in a field, an inquest heard yesterday.

Anita Hinchey died from multiple injuries after falling over while out walking her dog with friend Ruth Tugwell. Ms Tugwell said she herself was afraid of cows and walked up an incline in the field outside Cardiff. When she looked back she said animal lover Ms Hinchley, 63, was surrounded by cattle.

"She appeared to trip. I assume that's when she was hit by the hoof of a cow," Ms Tugwell told Cardiff Coroner's Court.

Coroner Mary Hassell recording a verdict of accidental death for the Cardiff woman.

"Accidental death"? That's what the cows want us to think!

And if the cows don't get you in temperate climates, then the animal kingdom has cold weather warfare sewn up...

I grew up on the very edge of a small market town, walked past the Wednesday cattle market each way to Junior School and home. Never figured out what all,the mooing and moaning was about. I agree; the Cows hate us and will have their revenge. Meanwhile.

How much longer are you going to be able to milk these cow stories?

I am begining to think that you steer them into this?

Also noticed the coroner did not have too much hassel in reaching the required verdict either.

There have been a whole spate of these cow murders. Is it some new type of agricultural Hitman or are we just in Gary Larson's world now?

I killed a cow once. Do you think the buggers will come to get me?

JM, that's the second 'bear goes mad' story in the past couple of weeks, but I can't track down the other one (it was in the USA somewhere).

Banned, BQ, it was Dearieme who tipped them over the edge.

WFW, these cow attacks used to happen once a month or once a week, but now they are happening almost dairy.

This is obviously due to accelerating climate change, and the revenge of Gaia!

Never trust any animal that goes around clad entirely in leather.
