I found a copy of last years Edexcel Maths GCSE paper this morning.
Question 5 :
(a) Write the number thirteen thousand, five hundred and ninety-one in figures.
(b) Write down the value of the 7 in the number 547 682
(c) Write the number 8183 to the nearest hundred.
As far as I remember (I'm getting on a bit), that was primary maths in my day.
No wonder they've all got A's!!!
Rather a cheap point Mr W... But it did make me smile. :-)
