I must admit that although I've only been a passive consumer of Strictly Come Dancing (because Mrs W insists on watching it), I found their 'last dance' strangely moving. Yes, I know it's cynical escapism, dumbing down and completely staged, but hey ...
John and Kristina saying goodbye had us in tears...

It was a very good waltz indeed, nice to see the old boy go out on a high.
You sad, sad man.
Mrs FormerTory insists on watching it, too. I sit and read the newspaper, *occasionally* peeping over the top, but oh no, I'd never watch that. Absolutely not.
*Sigh*
But the weekend will be much, much the poorer without the gorgeous, wonderful Kristina and her amazing embonpoint dancing across the screen.
Not that I'll notice. Oh no. Not me.
John who?
