While I abhor violence, as a smoker I can sort of sympathise with the motives of these two louts.
Ah well, at least they didn't shoot her in the face.

I sat down a couple of times to write a piece from the angle that busy bodies telling yobs not to smoke in the open air are asking for trouble, and might deserve what they get, but I got cold feet because I couldn't think of a way to express this without appearing to support these two thugs.
Well done for having the courage to write this, you are evidently not as PC as I am.
