I appreciated the irony of the illustration: offshore wind turbines standing idle in a dead calm.
Unlikely to happen from turbines alone - you need significant over-capacity of turbines plus lots of storage (batteries, reservoirs etc).
MW. Quite. Boris was never ever going to understand engineering. I mean he doesn't even understand basic econ 101 so any sort of sums are clearly going to be a challenge.
"Boris Island" is a bit of a clue as regards his grasp of engineering (or location values).
